Preschool Director
Lead Teacher, 4 and 5-year old full day
preschool program

I grew up in Tucson, Arizona and Green Bay, WI
When I was in college my parents and I moved to the
Twin Cities in Minnesota.  My family and I are big
sports fans- especially of the Packers and Brewers.
I graduated from Bethany Lutheran College, the
University of North Dakota, and later Martin Luther
College where I received my education degree in 1999.
Previously to attending MLC, I spent 2 years as a
Kindergarten Aide at Bloomington Lutheran School. I
taught grades 1-4 at Gethsemane Lutheran School in
Oklahoma City, and Preschool and Kindergarten at
Waucousta Lutheran School in Wisconsin. I have been
at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Preschool since 2006.
Besides enjoying sports, I love spending time with my
family in Wisconsin and Arizona, reading, traveling, and
so much more!

Lead Teacher, 3-year old half-day preschool
program

Extended Care Teacher

I was born in Bronx, New York and lived there until I was ten years old. I lived in different parts of Florida until moving to Tennessee in 2007 with my family. I have three children, Chris 26, Jasmine 23, and Victoria 15 years old. I also have a 1 year old grandson named Chase. I speak fluent Spanish so there may be times when I teach your children Spanish.

I worked in the cruise line industry for eight years. While volunteering and serving as a member on the school board at my daughter's preschool, I discovered an interest in Early Childhood Education. When I moved to TN, I took an Early Childhood Training class at NSCC. Since then, I have taken numerous ECC classes. I currently have my CDA (Child Development Associate) and my Technical Certificate for Early Childhood. I have been at Beautiful Savior Preschool since 2007 and became a Lead teacher in 2009 and I absolutely love it!

My philosophy for working with children is to inspire them with creativity. It makes me happy to be able to teach them something new. I love when children can reiterate something that I have taught them. I believe an early childhood program is important because children need to be in an environment that they are socially involved with other children. Children are our future and I enjoy working with them!

I love spending time with my children and visiting my family in Florida.
